Job summary

TDW is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee pipeline construction, maintenance, and integrity projects. You will lead field personnel, ensure safety, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to meet specifications.

The role requires 7–10 years in pipeline work, 3–5 years in supervision, and travel to remote sites. Strong leadership and communication are essential, along with a valid class 5 license and knowledge of regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7–10 years of pipeline construction, maintenance, or integrity experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory management experience.
• Strong knowledge of pipeline construction methods, industry standards, and field operations.
• Proven experience leading large crews and managing multiple projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily field operations for pipeline construction and maintenance projects.
• Supervise and coordinate labourers, operators, welders, coating technicians, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work complies with policies, client requirements, regulatory standards, and HSE procedures.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate site setup, including excavation safety, signage, barriers, and environmental controls.
• Oversee excavation, coating, sandblasting, and repair operations.
• Monitor productivity, schedules, and resource utilization to meet objectives.
• Ensure permits, inspections, and project documentation are completed and maintained.
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, landowners, contractors, and stakeholders.
