T.D. Williamson, Inc. is seeking a Field Superintendent in Canada to lead the coordination, supervision and execution of pipeline construction, maintenance and integrity projects.

You will direct field crews, manage subcontractors, and serve as the primary liaison between project management, clients and site personnel, ensuring work is performed safely and to spec. The role requires 7–10 years in pipeline work, 3–5 years supervising teams, and travel to remote sites.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 7–10 years of pipeline construction, maintenance, or integrity experience.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline construction methods, industry standards, and field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily field operations for pipeline construction and maintenance projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate labourers, equipment operators, welders, coating technicians, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies, client requirements, regulatory standards, and health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Conduct and participate in daily safety meetings, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate site setup activities, including excavation safety measures, signage, barriers, access and egress systems, environmental controls, and worksite security.
  • Oversee excavation, pipeline exposure, coating removal and application, bolt-up activities, sandblasting, and repair operations.
  • Monitor productivity, work quality, project schedules, and resource utilization to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure required permits, inspections, utility locates, and project documentation are completed and maintained.
  • Liaise with clients, inspectors, landowners, contractors, and project stakeholders regarding field activities.
