Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Ontario is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area team. The role focuses on leading crews, interpreting drawings, and ensuring safe, high‑quality piping installations and repairs on site.

You will mentor crew members, coordinate with project managers, and uphold safety standards across projects with a strong emphasis on teamwork and craftsmanship. Local candidates with certification and several years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Pipefitter certification required.
• Minimum 5+ years of pipefitting experience.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Valid First Aid, ESC Fall Protection, and H2S Alive certifications.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license; local candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a crew of pipefitters to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installation and repair work.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and stakeholders.

Role Summary

PTW is hiring a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area. This role is ideal for a certified tradesman ready to take on a leadership position, guiding crews and ensuring safe, high-quality execution of piping projects. You will play a key role in interpreting drawings, coordinating field activities, and setting standards for safety and craftsmanship on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Overtime: Available occasionally
