Job summary

Central Baptist Church in Victoria, Canada, is seeking a Lead Pastor who will serve as the primary preacher, teacher, and spiritual leader. The role directs the church’s ministries and operations in alignment with its vision and faith statement, reporting to the Board and the membership as the church's main spiritual leader.

You will lead in urban ministry with a gospel-centered focus, mentoring leaders, and engaging daily in pastoral care, teaching, and outreach among diverse urban communities.

PrimaryResponsibility

The Lead Pastor serves as the primary preacher, teacher, and spiritual leader of the church. Heis responsible forthe overall leadership, direction, and effectiveness of the church’s ministries and operations, aligned with its vision and Statement of Faith.

The Lead Pastor reports tothe Boardon organizational matters and to the membership as the church's main spiritual leader.
