VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) is one of the largest not-for-profit home care providers in Ontario. The Occupational Therapist will assess and deliver evidence-based interventions to adults in home settings, coordinating with the care team to promote independence.

The role includes mentoring, orientation for new therapists, and contributing to best practice initiatives within a diverse, values-driven organization.

Formación

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school.
• Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate and empathetic.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently.
• Skilled in caseload management.
• Skilled at electronic documentation.
• Able to provide virtual care.
• An ADP authorizer is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and provide consultation, recommendations and interventions to adults in their homes.
• Coordinate delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team.
• Provide input for performance reviews and mentor new graduates.
• Participate in best practice initiatives reflecting evolving health care system.
• Act as a resource for standards of practice and clinical policies.
