Job summary

Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver is seeking a dedicated Supervisor for the Men’s Recovery program to lead daily operations, supervise the Recovery Coaching Team, and ensure trauma-informed, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in working within the addiction field work is required.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating staff.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and supportive recovery environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Men’s Recovery Program.
• Supervise, coach, and support Recovery Coaches with regular one-on-ones and scheduling.
• Develop and implement Personal Service Plans using trauma-informed, person-centred approaches.
• Build relationships with participants and provide support in crisis situations and during discharges.
• Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate staffing and volunteers to meet program needs and ensure quality delivery.
