Job summary

Worley is recruiting a Principal Mechanical Engineer – HVAC, Building Services and Fire Protection for a full-time role based in Markham, Ontario. You will lead discipline teams, oversee engineering deliverables, and ensure safe, compliant, constructible solutions for process plants, mining and metals operations, energy facilities, laboratories, and industrial buildings.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and building services design for industrial facilities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA).
• Ability to review and approve deliverables with focus on safety and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for HVAC, building services and fire protection from concept through closeout.
• Lead engineering teams in design criteria, calculations, specifications and drawings.
• Oversee design of industrial HVAC and building services systems and utility coordination.
• Provide direction for fire protection scope including water systems, sprinklers and fire alarm interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, Worley procedures, and safety requirements.
