The Maintenance Supervisor & Chief Engineer at St. Joseph's Health System Hamilton leads a multi-discipline team to maintain building services, HVAC, boilers, chillers, and medical gas systems, ensuring reliability and cost performance.

You will manage a technician and trades group, drive preventive maintenance via CMMS, develop SOPs, coordinate with Redevelopment Team, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance while pursuing energy efficiency and asset longevity.

Qualificações

• 2–3 year diploma from Community College in Power Engineering.
• Certificate of Qualification from TSSA as 2nd Class Engineer or higher.
• Experience supervising operating engineers in a 2nd Class Plant, unionized setting preferred.
• Experience with CMMS, BAS, boilers, chillers and plant equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise multi-discipline trades and operating engineers.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance and contractor work.
• Ensure safety programs are followed and performance managed.
• Coordinate energy and utility efficiency initiatives with BAS lead.
• Ensure compliance with SJHH policies and regulatory bodies.
