Job summary
Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is seeking an experienced Machinist to join our Edmonton manufacturing team. You will apply your machining expertise in a fast-paced environment, focusing on high-quality components and premium threading techniques.
You will lead daily production activities, drive improvements in productivity and yield, and uphold safety, health, and quality programs while aligning with the monthly shipping plan.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Machinist certification with 8+ years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of machine operation, setup, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience with API and premium threading connections preferred.
- Experience leading a team and overseeing daily work activities is preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support production of high-quality components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Improve machining processes and ensure equipment performs to high standards.
- Plan, coordinate and direct daily production activities to meet targets and shipping plan.
- Promote safety culture and participate in monthly safety meetings.
- Identify issues, resolve problems, and support continuous improvement.
