The ideal candidate will have active LPN registration with BCCNM, knowledge of nurse-to-patient ratios, BLS/CPR-C certification, and prior leadership experience in nursing supervision or charge roles.

Qualifications

• Active LPN registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Knowledge of nursing practice standards and mandated nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR-C certification.
• Leadership experience in nursing supervision or charge nurse roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing personnel, daily operations, and quality standards to ensure safe patient care.
• Coordinate schedules to maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Lead clinical huddles, handle escalations, and liaise with physicians and support services.
• Manage operational budgeting and resource allocation; support quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
