Job summary

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide clinical leadership for a team supporting unaccompanied minors in residential care in El Centro, California.

You will mentor clinicians, oversee assessments and treatment planning, and ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based care while maintaining a small clinical caseload. California licensure support is available and the role is onsite.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field.
• Active, unrestricted clinical license in any US state or territory.
• 5+ years post-licensure clinical experience.
• 2+ years in leadership or management.
• Experience with children, families, or vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision for a team of Behavioral Health Therapists.
• Foster compassion, accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
• Conduct assessments, crisis intervention, evaluations, and treatment planning as needed.
• Provide clinical consultation for complex cases with trauma-informed care.
• Monitor documentation, treatment plans, and service delivery for quality and compliance.
• Support onboarding, coaching, and professional development of staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Lead program implementation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a limited clinical caseload while mentoring the team.
• Advocate for safety and positive outcomes for every child served.

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced, compassionate Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide clinical leadership and oversight for a team supporting unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting in El Centro, California.

Licensed in another state? Great! We welcome independently licensed clinicians from all 50 states and U.S. territories and will assist with obtaining California licensure, including reimbursement of applicable licensing fees.

This is a full-time, onsite leadership position supporting a critical federal program.

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

What You'll Do

• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, mentorship, and day-to-day support for a team of Behavioral Health Therapists.
• Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments, crisis intervention, clinical evaluations, and treatment planning as needed.
• Provide clinical consultation and guidance for complex cases while promoting trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
• Monitor clinical documentation, treatment plans, and service delivery to ensure quality, compliance, and continuity of care.
• Support onboarding, coaching, training, and professional development of behavioral health staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, program leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Assist leadership with program implementation, quality improvement initiatives, and operational priorities.
• Maintain a limited clinical caseload while serving as the clinical leader and mentor for the behavioral health team.
• Advocate for the safety, well-being, and successful outcomes of every child served.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent).
• Minimum of five years of post-independent licensure clinical experience.
• Minimum of two years of leadership, supervisory, or clinical management experience.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, behavioral health best practices, and clinical supervision.
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in El Centro, California.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams.
• Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience supporting federal or government-funded behavioral health programs.
