You will provide trauma-informed counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with medical and care teams to tailor treatment plans. Independent licensure in any U.S. state is required, with California licensure support offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and professional licensure required.
• License must be independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent).
• Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
• Develop treatment recommendations and individualized care plans.
• Help children build resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver care.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and participate in treatment planning.
• Provide coverage for scheduled shifts, vacations, or periods of increased program demand.

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking compassionate, independently licensed Behavioral Health Therapists to join our PRN/On-Demand team supporting unaccompanied minors in a residential care setting in El Centro, California.

This is an onsite PRN/On-Demand position supporting a critical federal program.

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

What You'll Do

• Provide trauma-informed individual counseling and crisis intervention services.

• Advocate for the safety, well-being, and success of every child in your care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years of post-independent licensure experience.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or other vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in El Centro, California, on an as-needed basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, or child welfare.
• Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health settings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexible availability to support varying program needs.
