Job summary

Citi is seeking a Lead Java Developer to design and develop web-based applications and cloud services using Angular, Java, Spring, and OpenShift. You will collaborate with stakeholders and promote agile practices to build reliable, scalable platforms.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software development, strong Java/Spring and Docker experience, and expertise in REST, Kafka, and front-end tech like Angular/React.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Cloud-ready apps & deployment pipelines on large container clusters are a plus.
• Enterprise-scale apps using Java, Spring & Docker.
• Design patterns, coding standards & modularity.
• REST, Kafka and RDBMS experience.
• JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber & RestAssured testing.
• SDLC in Agile & Waterfall environments.
• Monitoring with OpenTelemetry, Splunk & ELK.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities
