Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is seeking a Manager for the Investment Insights team. You will lead analytics that drive actionable investment insights, collaborating with investment teams and senior leadership to iterate concepts and scale analytics across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, data science, or quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in investment analytics or data science.
• 3+ years leading a performance, analytics, investment, or asset management team.
• Experience with Python, SQL, AI programming assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot), automation and scheduling platforms (e.g. VisualCron, Prefect).
• Experience with data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder alignment; ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Create analytics that generate investment insights and improve affiliate investment manager effectiveness.
• Build a deep understanding of affiliate investment strategies and workflows.
• Research and propose new analytic methodologies; act as a thought leader in investment analytics.
• Collaborate with investment managers and senior leadership to iteratively develop proofs of concept.
• Partner with Platform and Methodology Team to productionalize and scale analytics.
• Leverage financial datasets and tools to create analytics across performance, risk, and ESG scoring.
