Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician for industrial client operations. You will maintain and service heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems critical to continuous operations and collaborate with the Facilities Manager and vendors to ensure peak performance.

The role requires strong safety discipline, preventative maintenance, and effective troubleshooting in a demanding oil and gas environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC technical training or apprenticeship completed.
• 3–5 years hands-on HVAC maintenance/repair in relevant facilities.
• Valid HVAC/R certification, RACM.
• Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams.
• BAS and DDC knowledge for HVAC systems.
• Follow safety regulations including lockout/tagout and confined space.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in tight spaces.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service HVAC systems essential to industrial operations.
• Diagnose failures and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies across the site.
• Monitor BAS and adjust controls for energy efficiency and IAQ.
• Document maintenance in CMMS with notes and parts usage.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager, vendors and contractors for major work.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE compliance in oil and gas environments.
