Juno Engineering Canada Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, seeks a Senior Electrical Substation Engineer to lead the design and delivery of HV substations for utilities, renewables, and industrial clients across Western Canada.

You will guide FEED to detailed design, manage technical risk, and mentor engineers while coordinating with protection, controls, civil, and procurement teams.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and client leadership in a collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng. eligibility (Alberta) sought.
• 10+ years' progressive electrical engineering experience in HV substation design and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept to detailed physical design for greenfield/brownfield substations and interconnections.
• Define design bases, criteria, and perform key calculations (clearances, grounding, insulation coordination).
• Lead equipment selection, procurement support, and vendor coordination.
• Provide senior technical support during procurement, construction, and energization.
