Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Housekeeping leadership professional to oversee venue cleaning, safety, and standard operating procedures. You will supervise supervisors and staff, develop SOPs, manage equipment, and coordinate deep-cleaning projects to uphold Brand standards and guest experience.

You will work in a dynamic, unionized environment, schedule shifts, train personnel, and collaborate with vendors while ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with WHMIS

Qualifications

• University or college degree in hospitality management is an asset.
• Housekeeping management experience with knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in a unionized environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant Manager, Housekeeping for all venues' cleaning, detail, servicing, resources, care and maintenance.
• Establish goals, measurements and results for department supervisors and staff.
• Develop and update job descriptions, task checklists and SOPs for supervisors and staff.
• Supervise equipment and supply usage and place orders based on needs.
• Meet with vendors to discuss housekeeping matters.
• Schedule, train, assign, review and evaluate staff performance.
• Prepare and maintain housekeeping records and reports.
• Ensure safety; monitor health and safety tools and WHMIS training.
• Oversee inspections to ensure standards and procedures are followed.
