WSP is seeking a Senior Health Risk Assessment Specialist to lead human health and ecological risk assessments across Canada. You will provide technical leadership on complex projects, translate evidence into practical strategies, and mentor professionals within a nationally connected practice.

You will collaborate with clients and project teams, drive risk mitigation efforts, and advance environmental decision-making while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to the growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Toxicology, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading human health and ecological risk assessments in environmental consulting, industry, or government.
• Expertise in Canadian federal and provincial risk assessment frameworks, regulatory processes, and technical guidance.
• Advanced knowledge of toxicology, exposure modelling, fate and transport concepts, and environmental health science.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead human health and ecological risk assessments informing project decisions.
• Provide senior technical direction in toxicology, exposure assessment, risk characterization, and regulatory interpretation across Canada.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, geology, and regulatory expertise into clear solutions.
• Develop risk management strategies advancing remediation, environmental approvals, and contaminated sites management.
• Strengthen client relationships by providing trusted advisory services throughout the project lifecycle.
