Job summary

Voyageur Aviation Corp. is seeking a Lead Hand, Accessory Shop to supervise a skilled team and direct project flow. You will oversee mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring safety and policy compliance. The role requires a trades background and certification authorization eligibility.

You will manage tasks, train staff, and monitor quality, productivity, and documentation to support efficient operations at our North Bay head office.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a shop floor and directing project flow.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Candidate holds a trades certificate and certification authorization or can obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accessory Shop team and manage project flow as directed by Supervisor.
• Ensure staff follow Voyageur policies and maintain safe work environment.
• Evaluate quality of work and manage paperwork and time billing on projects.
• Support staff training, mentoring and performance reviews.
