Voyageur Aviation Corp. in North Bay, ON is seeking an Aviation Material Technician Lead to supervise receiving, issuing, shipping and inventory control within the Material Control Department.

You will guide AMTs, ensure daily tasks are completed, train new staff, and act as liaison when the manager is absent, while working with MS Office and Win Air.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Warehouse Experience in a Team Lead role.
• Knowledge of aircraft tooling and shipment of dangerous goods is asset.
• Experience with inventory software, such as Win Air, is an asset.
• Proven data entry skills with MS Office.

• Oversee, assist, and provide insight to AMTs when required for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods against packing slips and other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Provide training for new and existing AMT.
• Operate warehousing equipment (Pallet Jack, Forklift, Condor Chick).
• Lead AMTs on daily assignments and act as point of contact during Manager’s absence.
• Active involvement of physical inventory counting.

Job description

As a key member of the Material Control team, theAviation Material Technician Leadwill report to the Manager, Material Control. This position ensures that the daily task assignments are actioned and will provide AMTs with guidance and answer general questions pertaining to the daily activities involved in Receiving, Issuing, Shipping, Inventory Control and Projects within the Material Control Department.

• Follow established Company policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives and safety and environmental standards.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
