Job summary

Corrcoat Services Inc. in the Lower Mainland near Surrey seeks an experienced industrial painter to lead a small crew on high-profile job sites. You will supervise crew members, prepare surfaces, mix and apply paint, and ensure quality checks are performed on site.

Applicants must have 10+ years in industrial painting or construction on major projects, be physically fit to lift 50 lb, and work at heights or in confined spaces. Local candidates only; travel across multiple Lower Mainland sites.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years experience as an industrial painter or 10 years in construction on high profile job sites with some supervisory exp.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small crew under a foreman/site-supervisor.
  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
  • Mix and apply paint and perform quality checks; track data for foreman.

Job description

Pay Range

$42.95 - $49.64hr, Based on experience. Applicants who do not meet the below criteria may still be considered for other painting positions, provided they can have some experience in the trade.

Red-Seal Journeypersons' Ticket and/or AMPP/NACE Certifications are an asset, but not a requirement.

Experience

At least 10 years experience as an industrial painter, or at least 10 years experience in construction on high profile job sites with at least some of that including some supervisory exp

Location

Various locations throughout the Lower-Mainland. Work must be completed at the physical location, there is no option to work remotely. No allowance for out of town workers - all applicants must be local to the area. LOA will not be paid for this position. No relocation expenses will be paid.

  • Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lb objects - this is a physically demanding job.
Work setting
  • Various locations throughout the lower-mainland
  • Shift schedule will vary from project to project.
Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for a small crew of workers, along with other lead hands, under a foreman/site-super.
  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Mix, Apply paint, Perform quality checks, and track data to be handed in to your foreman on site.
Security and safety
  • Drug testing may be a requirement (depending on the job site).
