Mars is hiring a Filler Operator (Operator 1) to join our factory team in Bolton. The role involves leading a small team, coordinating line targets, and repairing mechanical issues on production machinery. It follows a rotating 12‑hour schedule with day and night shifts.

We seek GCSE-level education and a mechanical background, plus leadership or coaching experience. The position offers a competitive CAD hourly wage, a sign-on bonus, and a benefits package including vacation and growth

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level.
• Mechanical training or background is a must.
• Experience leading / coordinating a small team of associates - desirable.
• Filler Operator experience - Desirable
• Experience in FMCG / High speed production - desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targets.
• Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery.
• Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
• Assisting operators with daily productions tasks to ensure line targets are met.
