Job summary

PepsiCo in Mississauga is seeking a Production Operator for the semi-automatic filling line. This role may rotate across stations within the warehouse, with 1st and 2nd shifts and potential overtime.

Shifts run 7:00 am–3:30 pm and 3:30 pm–12:00 am. Candidates must have manufacturing experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality checks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; 2–3 years related experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing plant functions.
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a production operator.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and report unsafe conditions to Safety Lead.
• Complete safety & process training in a timely manner.
• Use PPE properly and perform daily pre-use equipment checks.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings.
• Operate filling lines per SOP and complete work orders.
• Enter daily quality and production checks in ERP.
• Meet or exceed department targets.
• All other duties as assigned.

Overview

Overall Operation of the Semi-Automatic Filling Line. This position may be required to rotate to various stations within the warehouse.

1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Can work overtime.

Positions pay up to $23 / hr. CAD

Responsibilities

• Ensure all compliance and job safety requirement are met and reports any unsafe conditions/hazards immediately to Safety Lead.
• Ensure completion of all assigned safety & process training in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment; and ensure daily pre-use checklists for equipment is completed at start of shift.
• Actively participate in pre-shift meetings
• Ensure work orders are completed on the filling lines and operated in accordance with SOP.
• Accurately complete and enter all daily quality and production checks.
• Ensure all transactions are completed daily in ERP system.
• Meet or exceed department targets set by the Company.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent or 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General understanding of manufacturing plant functions.
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a production operator
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a FAST PACE environment
• Strong work ethic.
• Must be knowledgeable in administrative/operational procedures such as; work schedules, set-ups, safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal skills, and other technical skills to properly direct, assist, and
