MLE Consulting Engineers in Bedford, Nova Scotia is expanding by establishing an in-house electrical engineering division and seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer/Partner to lead and grow the practice.

You will oversee electrical projects from concept to construction, build client relationships, and help set strategy with the partnership team while aligning with MLE’s collaborative, quality-focused culture.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• P.Eng. designation, or eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical building systems design, including leading projects through design, construction, and delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and serve as a trusted technical advisor.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial, residential, institutional, healthcare, and/or long-term care facilities.
• Experience working with AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership in the design and consulting of electrical building systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, consultants, and industry partners.
• Identify new business opportunities through client engagement and industry involvement.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the partnership team.
• Develop and evaluate design solutions balancing reliability, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
