Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Intermediate Designer to lead Civil 3D design production for land development projects in Ontario. You will own design packages, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technologists to achieve project objectives.

The role requires delivering grading, servicing, and stormwater solutions consistent with municipal requirements and industry best practices, while advancing toward Senior Designer responsibilities in a collaborative

Qualifications

Civil Engineering degree or diploma or equivalent education and experience.
5–10 years in land development or municipal infrastructure design.
Advanced Civil 3D expertise with delivery of complete grading, servicing, roadworks, and municipal infrastructure drawing packages.
Experience with Site Plan, Draft Plan, Condominium, and municipal submissions.
Strong knowledge of Ontario and GTA municipal engineering standards and submission requirements.

Responsibilities

Function as the Civil 3D technical lead within the project delivery cell.
Lead preparation and coordination of Civil 3D drawing packages for grading, servicing, stormwater management, and municipal infrastructure.
Independently prepare grading plans, servicing plans, and utility plans.
Develop and manage Civil 3D models throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with Project Engineers regarding design intent and approvals.
Mentor junior designers and technologists in Civil 3D workflows and QA/QC.
