Job summary

Mastercard Identity Solutions – Cloud Infrastructure - Edge team seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design and build highly available AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes-based platforms, with a strong focus on automation and IaC. You’ll drive reliability, security, and performance across regions while mentoring engineers and promoting best practices.

You will implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, develop tooling in Go, Python, and Bash, and work closely with product teams to deliver scalable cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading distributed DevOps/Cloud teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within a geographically diverse team.
• Design, build, scale, and optimize cloud infrastructure across environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and similar tools.
• Design and implement secure, highly available AWS environments.
• Build and scale Kubernetes (EKS) environments for availability and performance.
• Develop monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues and develop automation with Go, Python, Bash.
