Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Platform & Infrastructure, DevOps Engineer to design, build, and secure the cloud foundation powering the VPI platform. You will drive AWS platform architecture, modernization, and migrations while leading teams across engineering, security, and product to ensure reliability and scalability.

You will own infrastructure automation, observability, and secure-by-default patterns, partnering with enterprise security and integration teams to enable

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering or DevOps.
• Deep AWS cloud expertise and cloud-native architectures.
• Production Kubernetes experience required.
• IaC and automation framework proficiency.
• Security with cloud platforms and risk management awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, secure, and operate cloud-native infrastructure for investment platform.
• Lead AWS platform architecture, modernization, and migrations.
• Define scalable, highly available infrastructure patterns across environments.
• Manage Kubernetes-based platforms and container workloads in production.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, IaC adoption, and automation across teams.
• Partner with security, data, product, and architecture teams for secure delivery.
