Job summary

The Driving Force Group of Companies is seeking a Lead Detailer for the Driving Force Fleet Solutions rentals team in Mississauga. Lead a small team to ensure vehicles are cleaned, stocked, and ready for customer pickup while maintaining MSDS compliance and safety standards.

You bring a secondary school diploma, prior leadership experience, a valid Class 5 license, and a safety program clearance. Competitive wages, benefits, RRSP matching, and growth opportunities are offered.

• Clear pre-employment security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all rental vehicles are clean, equipped, and ready for customer pick-up.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections at start of shift.
• Complete lockout/tagout procedures when needed.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety.
• Stage vehicles with required safety items (fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, road flares).

We are currently looking for a Lead Detailer to join our rentals team at Driving Force Fleet Solutions in our Mississauga location.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure all rental vehicles are clean, equipped, and ready for customer pick-up.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of supplies.
• Ensure all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are always up to date and readily available to team members.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections at the start of each day.
• Complete lockout/tagout procedures for equipment that is unsafe or is not functioning properly.
• Maintain full compliance with decal procedures.
• Train staff on the proper use of chemicals and PPE, processes and required documentation.
• Ensure that the shop is always clean and safe.
• Properly stage vehicles with all required safety items, including fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, buggy whips, and road flares.

What You Bring:

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent.

• Valid class 5 driver’s license.
