Qualifications

ABOUT THE ROLE

Oversee and manage transportation needs in the local market, including fleet utilization, dispatch, sales support, and customer service for RMX in the Central market. Maintain efficiency and customer service in dispatch operations, build a strong team, and ensure seamless execution. Focus on safety, team diversity, service quality, equipment utilization, and operational systems, working closely with customer, sales, quality, and operations teams.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Implement and uphold Lafarge Safety policies, fostering a safety culture and engaging all personnel.
  • Provide excellent customer service, optimizing resources.
  • Assist sales with customer communication, order processing, and system support.
  • Maintain and improve order entry and dispatch systems for timely delivery.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to improve dispatch and customer experience.
  • Exhibit professional conduct and promote team development.
  • Lead and mentor teams, providing value-added products.
  • Manage systems like Command Concrete and Concrete Direct daily.
  • Coordinate billing with sales and quality control.
  • Lead daily CFOM calls, QIR processes, incident reports, and Concrete Direct activities.
  • Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting safety behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • College education; preferred fields include Business or technical; minimum 5 years experience in concrete or logistics.
  • Technical skills in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Strong customer service skills and flexibility.
  • Process aptitude, construction product knowledge, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to make timely decisions, solve problems, and analyze data.
  • Strategic business focus and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Requirements
  • Adherence to safety protocols and PPE use, including proper fit for respirator users.
