Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Contract Administrator to manage the main construction contract for a large, complex project in British Columbia. You will work with the client and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure compliance, timely delivery, and effective change control.

The role requires strong contract knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams. Hybrid work options and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer the main construction contract for a large, complex project.
• Build and maintain relationships with the Contractor and align on contract terms.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, track deliverables, and report on performance.
• Identify and track contract compliance related issues.
• Review formal correspondence from the Contractor and draft responses.
• Support the Commercial team in delivering change management.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and assist with inquiries.
• Assist in creating and maintaining contract documents and project records.
• Advise on amendments, change directives, and change orders.
• Develop and implement contract management processes and procedures.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of contract management outputs.
