Job summary

Liquid personnel are currently recruiting for a Lead Commissioner role with Rutland council. This position is ideal for a social worker with placement finding/commissioning experience or someone moving up from a commissioning team in children and family services.

Qualifications

• Experience within commissioning within a LA setting.
• Experience giving advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• In depth knowledge of children and family services.
• Full UK right to work and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the effective commissioning of children’s services placements.
• Support the service managers with commission priorities and team development in seeking to commission placements.
• Report to the HoS on progress with commissioning priorities and budget saving.
• Lead fee and price negotiations at service level.
