Job summary

Rutland Council is seeking a Referral and Assessment social worker to join the team and contribute to safeguarding and family support. The role involves three weekly duty and referral duties, with opportunities to provide specialist cover and manage CiN/CP cases, while collaborating with police and healthcare professionals.

Applicants must be SWE registered with right to work in the UK, have completed the ASYE, and hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• To participate in three weekly duty and contact and referral duty system.
• Provide specialist duty cover when required.
• Hold short term CiN plans and CP cases.
• Attend team meetings are and participate in team development.
• Work closely with other professionals such as the police and healthcare.
