Job summary

Reimagine in Edmonton is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our team and lead civil design for institutional, housing, and remote projects. You will serve as the professional of record, coordinating with architects, clients, and stakeholders to deliver site servicing, grading, and stormwater design from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA or eligible for transfer.
• 5+ years of civil engineering consulting experience.
• Strong experience in site grading, stormwater design, servicing, and municipal permitting.
• Experience with Alberta municipal standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaboration with Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PE of Record for civil design.
• Lead site servicing design, grading, stormwater, and infrastructure coordination.
• Prepare Development Permit (DP) and Building Permit (BP) submissions per AHJ requirements.
• Coordinate civil design within integrated project delivery and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide construction administration and site review services.
• Navigate northern and remote project constraints including permafrost, material constraints, and remote logistics.
