Job summary

Egis Canada invites a seasoned civil engineer to lead land development projects in the Edmonton area. The role focuses on managing municipal servicing, roadways, and site plans from concept to post-construction.

You will guide engineers, technologists, and subconsultants to deliver compliant, sustainable outcomes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in land development, strong English communication, and is eligible for professional registration in Alberta.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive design and project management experience on land development.
• PMP or professional registration (P.Eng., P.L.Eng., C.E.T., or P.Tech Eng.) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the planning, design, and delivery of land development, municipal servicing, and related infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technologists, and subconsultants to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Provide technical authority in stormwater management, grading and drainage, roadway design, and utility coordination for subdivision, site plans, and municipal projects.
• Manage client relationships as the primary contact for developers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
