- Prepare quantitative estimates and proposal estimates for projects.
- Use Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen Economic Evaluation software to prepare multi-disciplinary project estimates, including Oil and Gas facilities, Pipelines, and Green Energy projects, following AACEI guidelines.
- Develop and coordinate estimate plans for projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Provide bases of estimates and conduct CCE using the basis of estimate.
- Present estimates for internal and client reviews, answering questions and explaining details confidently.
- Review and revise CCE policies and procedures to improve accuracy and consistency of estimates.
- Manage a small team supporting CCE activities and lead estimate reviews with project teams.
- Contribute to business development activities by assessing the level of effort required for CCE scope.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently and assist with project schedule development and updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of estimating experience, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Experience with large and small projects in energy, oil and gas, pipelines, and industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in Aspen Cost Estimating and MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Post-secondary education in engineering, technology, or applicable trades.
- AACE Certification is advantageous; proficiency in MS Project or Primavera is a plus.
