Job summary

OSI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Layup Operator for the PFC Flexible Circuits division. You will handle cover coat layups, stiffeners, and lamination on circuit boards, with a 4:00pm–12:30am shift. The role includes setup of die-cut and Spartanics equipment, material handling, and strict quality controls.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience in PCB/flexible circuits, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. A $0.75/hour shift differential applies to second shift hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in flexible circuits, PCB, lamination/press, or converting operations desired.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication and data entry skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Panel cleaning for surface preparation with solvents and pads; verify cleanliness.
• Set up and operate die-cut equipment; ensure cut quality and grain direction.
• Set up and operate Spartanics punching equipment; verify alignment and record parameters.
• Perform cover coat layup and align materials; prepare layups for lamination.
• Apply stiffeners with adhesives; ensure correct bondline and orientation.
• Laminate dry film photoresist; monitor temperature, pressure, speed and nips.

• Report quality problems to prevent recurrence; duties may change with business needs.
