Job summary

PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, seeks a General Labourer – Floater to provide cross-department support on the afternoon shift (3:30pm–12:00am). You’ll assist Die Cut, Dry Film Lamination, Wet Process, and Laser Digital Imaging, helping prevent bottlenecks and ensure on-time delivery.

PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a General Labourer – Floater who will provide flexible support across multiple departments, including Die Cut, Dry Film Lamination, Wet Process, and Laser Digital Imaging, helping eliminate production bottlenecks and ensure on-time delivery.

This individual will be cross-trained to provide coverage where needed (e.g., to address workload changes, vacations, absences, or priority jobs) and will be expected to follow travelers, work instructions, and quality requirements to produce conforming product safely and efficiently.

This individual will support afternoon shift operations (3:30pm - 12:00am).

This position offers a $0.75 per hour shift differential for second shift hours of operation (3:30pm - 12:00am).

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate die-cut equipment to cut panels and related films/materials to job-specific dimensions while maintaining orientation and traceability. Perform required first-piece/in-process checks and keep the work area clean to prevent mix-ups and contamination.
  • Clean and prepare panels for downstream processing by manually scrubbing with approved materials and verifying surfaces meet cleanliness requirements. Protect product from damage/contamination and elevate any nonconforming conditions per procedure.
  • Set up and run Spartanics punching operations to create tooling holes/features with accurate registration for downstream processing. Verify hole quality and alignment and report tooling or equipment issues promptly.
  • Laminate dry film to panels using specified equipment settings and handling techniques to prevent wrinkles, bubbles, and contamination. Document required checks and traceability information per traveler and work instructions.
  • Perform cover coat layup per traveler/drawings by aligning materials to tooling holes and applying them smoothly to avoid defects. Inspect workmanship prior to pressing/lamination and elevate issues that cannot be corrected per procedure.
  • Place and align stiffeners per job requirements, verifying correct material, thickness, location, and clean adhesive interfaces. Maintain flatness and protect assemblies from damage while staging for pressing/curing.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma desired.
  • Some experience in electronics manufacturing or a fast-paced warehouse environment desired.
  • Must be comfortable handling small, fragile components and using precision hand tools including nose pliers, picking tools, and tweezers.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with the ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality required.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, learn technical processes, and be self-motivated.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, schematics, or Gerber files is desired.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to assist other departments.
  • Must be able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25lbs for long periods of time.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethics are required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the business language (English).

Pay may range from $17.60 to $17.60 hourly
