Five (5) Years of Experience

Our boutique firm specializes in intellectual property, technology, entertainment, privacy and marketing/advertising. We are currently seeking a bilingual lawyer with five (5) years of experience to join our dynamic team for a period of nine (9) months, with a possibility of employment thereafter.

Our clientele consists mainly of medium-sized and large corporations for whom intellectual property is at the heart of their business. Largely coming from the creative and innovation industries, this clientele will offer you a diverse and highly stimulating practice. Main responsibilities

• Protection of intellectual property rights, including trademarks and copyrights
• Litigation and administrative proceedings, mainly in trademarks and technology
• Drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and opinions
• Contributing to the firm's reputation

Experience, training and knowledge required

• Approximately five (5) years of experience (candidates that have between three (3) years and seven (7) years of experience are still invited to apply)
• Be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar
• Excellent knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written
• Experience in intellectual property law
• Asset: significant experience in the field of trademarks, including availability searches and trademark prosecution
