Responsibilities

The successful candidate will independently manage client files, provide strategic legal advice, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm's practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of corporate, commercial, or commercial litigation matters.
• Manage legal files independently from initial consultation through resolution or transaction completion.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and develop practical legal strategies.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, dispute resolution processes, and court proceedings, where applicable.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal education.
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

• Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent advocacy and client relationship management abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
