Job summary

KPMG Calgary is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its Law team. The successful candidate will manage administrative tasks, including calendar management, document preparation, and assisting in the proposal process. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with advanced Microsoft Office skills.

KPMG Calgary is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Law team. If you have advanced technical skills, an energetic and engaging personality, and exemplify professional and service excellence, this role may be for you.


What you will do

  • Provide administrative support to KPMG Calgary’s Law leaders.
  • Manage calendars, emails, contact database, travel arrangements, expenses, meetings, events, proposals, risk management, billing and communications.
  • Assist with set up of engagements and with the risk process, as well as coordinating, creating, preparing, editing, and proofreading all standard and non-standard documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence using MS Office suite
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, video conferences, live meetings, and organize required materials.
  • Assist in the proposal process as required, working with the proposal team and proposal coordinator.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of time and expense reports for the partner(s) supported.
  • Other Administrative tasks as the business requires.

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Past experience working at a law firm (preferred), or professional services firm is required.
  • Significant relevant experience in managing and supporting Senior Leadership (preferably gained within a professional/corporate services environment)
  • Excellent commitment to providing quality and responsive customer service
  • Outstanding time management, problem solving and organizational skills gained in a high volume environment with competing demands and constant changes
  • Proven ability to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Proven team player with the ability to create strong working relationships at various levels and a flexible approach to their work
  • Superior communication skills whilst maintaining the highest level of personal and professional integrity
