The Village of Ridgeview Court in Milton, ON is seeking a Laundry Services Team Member to join Schlegel Villages’ long-term care team. This permanent part-time evening role carries out all laundry duties and supports a resident-centered environment, with on-site responsibilities and safety-aware practices.

Description

The Village of Ridgeview Court has an exciting opportunity for a LaundryTeam Memberto join their team.

• Status: Permanent Part-Time
  Location: The Village of Ridgeview Court; 545 Dymott Ave, Milton, ON L9E 2C9
  Expected Start Date: Mid-April

The hiring rate for this role is $22.28 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

Shift details : 2 PM to 6 PM, 28Hours Biweekly

• Carry out all laundry duties according to the procedures of the Village
• Maintain safe handling of all supplies and equipment and be comfortable lifting 15-25 lbs
• Co-operate with all Departments to assure safe, continual operation and efficiency
• Review all policy and procedure manuals annually and/or when changes occur
• Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support

It would be an asset if you have:

• Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home setting
• An understanding Infection Control and Isolation Protocols
