Job summary

Germain Hôtels is seeking a caring laundry attendant for a night shift to maintain bedding cleanliness and guest comfort. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and inspect linen, and ensure tidy storage and inventory control within a hotel environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, physical fitness, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a similar position or in the hotel industry is an asset.
• Good physical fitness: standing long periods, bending, lifting, repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and inspect used bedding and ensure cleanliness.
• Operate washing machines and dryers per procedures.
• Fold, hang and stack linen for easy retrieval and distribution.
• Iron items as needed to maintain neat appearance.
• Monitor inventory levels and report malfunctions to keep facilities organized.

We're looking for a caring laundry attendant who loves immaculate whiteness. This member of our team ensures the comfort and well-being of our guests by maintaining their bedding. He/she respects safety and hygiene regulations and works with a positive attitude to maintain a pleasant, clean and safe working environment day after day.

Kindly note the schedule for this position will be from 10pm to 6am.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, sort and inspect (stains, wear, damage) used bedding.
• Fill and activate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
• Fold, hang and stack clean linen items in an organized manner to facilitate retrieval and distribution.
• Iron items as necessary to maintain a neat appearance.
• Ensure the storage and rotation of clean linen and the organization of facilities by monitoring inventory levels and reporting any malfunctions.

What You’ll Bring
