Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a laundry worker for Portage Regional Health Centre on a part-time, temporary basis. The role requires handling laundry chemicals, following instructions, and traveling between regional facilities as needed.

Candidates should have Grade 10 education, strong English language skills, basic computer abilities, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license. Applies to Indigo regions with bilingual needs and a commitment to confidentiality.

• Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, an all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial or commercial laundry tasks as part of a health-care facility.
• Travel to other regional facilities as duties require.
• Follow safety protocols and chemical handling per Manufacturer’s directions.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records as required.
• Work independently or with others to ensure timely laundry services.
