Job summary

Universal Group is hiring a Lane Closure Technician to support traffic control operations across Vancouver Island. You will lead traffic control personnel, set up and tear down zones, and ensure safe, compliant execution of traffic management in various work sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of BC LCT experience.
• Current TCP certification recognized by WorkSafeBC.
• Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Smartphone with data plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead Traffic Control personnel and direct setup/teardown of signs and work zone delineations.
• Set up traffic control zones and provide clear directions to motorists.
• Monitor traffic flow and adapt to changes in scope.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in safety meetings.
