G B S Landscaping Ltd. in Vancouver, BC, seeks a Landscaper to join our team. The role requires a self-disciplined individual with strong interpersonal skills and availability to start immediately.

This is a permanent, full-time position with day, weekend, overtime, and morning shifts in Vancouver. The successful candidate will manage projects, care for plants, apply lawn products, assess lawn health, and lead crews across various worksites, including golf course landscapes.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required.
• 2–3 years of related landscaping experience preferred.
• Secondary school graduation is required.
• Candidate should be client focused and reliable.
• Organized, flexible and a good team player are desirable.
• Ability to work long hours outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage landscaping projects and oversee work on sites.
• Water and care for plants, lawns and gardens.
• Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn-care products.
• Assess the health of lawns and trees; identify problems.
• Direct crews maintaining golf courses and surrounding landscapes.
• Plant and move trees; plan growth and use of plants for landscaping.
• Maintain private and public lawns and gardens.

• The candidate must manage landscaping projects.
• The candidate must water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.

• The candidate will be responsible for directing crews that maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes.
• The candidate will be responsible for examining trees and shrubs to identify problems and diseases.
• The candidate must plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other purposes.
• The candidate must plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
