Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of landscape industry experience (or equivalent education).
• Experience operating landscape equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Knowledge of local plant life.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with natural leadership qualities.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily field operations.
• Perform full-service maintenance: mowing, trimming, edging, hedge trimming, weeding, blowing.
• Assist with occasional softscape installs.
• Support winter services including snow removal and salt application.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; report deficiencies.
• Participate in safety meetings and wear required PPE.
• Represent Horizon professionally and deliver exceptional customer service.
