Job summary

Beyond Landscaping in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a salesperson and estimator to convert warm leads into beautiful outdoor spaces. You will design scope, prepare accurate estimates, and present proposals that fit client budgets, then hand off to the build team.

You’ll read drawings and specs to ensure the project is costed correctly, tracked through the pipeline, and delivered as sold, with room to grow through performance-based raises.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape construction or related trade.
• Track record in sales, estimating, or client-facing work.
• Comfort reading drawings, blueprints, specs.
• Strong English, client presence.
• Organized and self-directed; manages pipeline.
• Valid BC driver’s licence and ability to drive a pickup.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients from warm leads and translate needs into vision.
• Design and scope landscape projects; prepare estimates and proposals.
• Read drawings and translate into scope, labour, materials, timelines.
• Present proposals within budget; close deals.
• Document costing and ensure build aligns with sold plan.
• Handoff to operations and monitor build quality.
• Track pipeline and close rate.

We’re expanding fast, and we’re adding a dedicated salesperson and estimator to help more clients say yes.

What you’ll do

• Meet with clients from warm, office-qualified leads, listen to what they want, and help them picture what their space could become.
• Design and scope landscape construction projects, then build accurate, profitable estimates and proposals.
• Read drawings, blueprints, and specs, and translate them into scope, labour, materials, and timelines.
• Present proposals, work within the client’s budget, and follow through until the deal is signed.
• Document how each job was costed so the build team delivers exactly what was sold.
• Hand off cleanly to operations and stay close enough to make sure the project is built as designed.
• Track your pipeline and your numbers, and keep sharpening your close rate.

What you bring

Must-haves:

• Experience in landscape construction, hardscape, or a related trade, you know how these projects actually get built.
• A track record in sales, estimating, or client-facing work, or strong field experience and a real drive to move into sales.
• Comfortable in reading drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications.
• Strong written and spoken English, and real presence in front of clients.
• Organized and self-directed, you manage your own pipeline and hit deadlines without being chased.
• A valid BC driver’s licence and comfort driving a pickup.

Nice-to-haves:

• Design experience, we’re open to a sales-plus-design or hybrid field/sales setup for the right person.
• Experience with LMN estimating software.
• Red Seal or trade certification.
