Job summary

Venters Recruits is seeking a Landscape Construction Project Manager to lead multiple commercial landscape projects from planning through client handover. Based in Kleinburg, Ontario, you will manage budgets, schedules, field teams, and client communications in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of PM/field management, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field management and/or project management experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects concurrently.
• Experience developing project schedules and meeting milestones.
• Strong budgeting, cost-control, and risk-management skills.
• Experience with estimating, tenders, progress billing, and project documentation is an asset.
• Strong verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/project management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple landscape construction projects from start through completion and client turnover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing responsive and professional service.
• Coordinate current and upcoming projects, field staff, equipment, and resources with senior project management.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, and key milestones.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and expenditures to keep projects financially on track.
• Attend site meetings and conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, scheduling, safety, and productivity.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
