Do you want to kickstart your career in landscape construction but have limited experience? No problem! At Creative Roots Landscaping, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our landscape construction apprentice team in Kelowna. Work outside, learn hands-on skills, and be part of a fun, hardworking crew building spectacular landscapes.

Creative Roots Landscaping designs, installs, and maintains high-end custom landscapes. As a Landscape Construction Pre-Apprentice, you’ll be installing landscapes and contributing to stunning outdoor spaces. Be part of building something legendary! With our comprehensive training program you have the opportunity to grow your career from Pre-Apprentice, through Apprentice to Foreman in 4 seasons!

Responsibilities as a Landscape Construction Pre-Apprentice :

Working with our Landscape Construction Foreman and your team, you’ll help with the installation of new landscapes and renovations. You will actively participate in team and personal development by contributing to huddles and learning the ‘Creative Roots Way’ and you will learn to think and act like an owner by being part of our open book management style.

Must have the following experience, knowledge or skills:

A strong need for Professional and Personal growth
A valid BC Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
Physically fit enough to perform your daily duties

Complete landscape installations and renovations:

Dig, lift, operate small machines, load tools and equipment on and off trailers and trucks etc
Work strategically to perform tasks safely, efficiently and effectively
Work with urgency and purpose
Learn and use the Creative Roots system of construction

Total compensation:

All of this responsibility comes with a great compensation package that includes an additional stake in our Profit Share Plan along with a benefits package .

You can expect:45 – 55 hours per week. Seasonal. Approximately March 1 – December 15 (weather dependent).
Competitive wages based on value and attitude you bring to the company. Typically $22 – $24 for this position. Paid overtime, profit sharing, extended health benefits and potential for advancement including partnership.
