The West Vancouver Land Development Department is currently seeking a replacement temporary full-time Land and Planning Clerk to join our highly qualified team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Climate, Environment and Land Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
The preferred candidate will possess: considerable knowledge of departmental functions, regulations, and practices, legal terminology, forms, and documents applicable to the work; considerable knowledge of business English, spelling, arithmetic, and punctuation; sound knowledge of computer and word processing systems, database maintenance, and Tempest; ability to process a variety of legal documents, agreement, leases, and other instruments related to Municipal land and property matters; and ability to resolve complex problems and to establish effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
The successful candidate will have: completion of grade 12 or equivalent, supplemented by legal conveyancing and office administration courses; considerable related experience in processing legal documents, conveyancing, and working with the land title system; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check and a copy of their credentials.

$35.26 per hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits
